We provide answers to 9 questions that might interest you.

• Is the Status Holder free of charge?

  Yes! The Status Holder can be used free of charge.
  However, Premium is required to be able to use settings.

• Does the Status Holder have to be installed?

  No. The Status Holder does not need to be installed.
  This is a click-to-run application. This means that no administrator authorizations are required for installation, but the software can be started with a simple double-click.

• Can the Status Holder be detected by my IT department?

  Theoretically yes. However, the probability is very low.
  As this is a click-to-run application, it does not need to be installed and therefore does not appear in the “Installed software list”.

  Even if the tool is discovered: You are not doing anything forbidden 🙂

• Which software is supported?

  The Status Holder currently supports the following software:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Skype
  • Skype for Business
  • Cisco WebEx
  • Zoom
  • Slack

  The list is constantly being expanded and many products are already supported but are not yet listed.

• Can I start the Status Holder automatically?

  Yes! It is possible to start the Status Holder automatically.
  To do this, the appropriate check mark must be set in the settings. The tool is then added to the autostart.

• Can I make the status holder run invisibly?

  Yes! It is possible to minimize to the Windows notification area.
  The tool can be minimized to the Windows notification area in the settings. This means that the tool has disappeared from the taskbar and does not interfere with presentations or other activities.

• Can I have the start and end logged?

  Yes! A protocol is possible.
  For this purpose, a log file is created on the desktop in which the date and time when the Status Holder is started and ended is logged. This would allow you to record your own working hours.

• Can the Holder status be terminated automatically?

  Yes! The status Holder can be ended automatically.
  It is possible to have the tool terminated at a specific date and time, or daily at a specific time. Automatic termination of Teams or shutdown of the computer can be selected as an option.

• Will I be informed if a new version is available?

  Yes! A notification appears.
  If a new version of the Status Holder is available, a notification appears when the tool is started.
